Who Is CANCON?CANCON is a group of language tutors based primarily on Canada’s East Coast. Our main focus is ESL, but we are also able to offer Arabic, Brazilian Portuguese, Korean, Japanese and Mandarin classes. Our methods are simple, personal and effective.
How Do We Tutor?By private video-conferencing, CANCON tutors develop the linguistic capacities of our students on an individual basis; every class is specifically tailored to each student. This one-on-one experience mimics total immersion in half hour or hour long time blocks where communication in the desired language is necessary and engaging.

Whether you are traveling abroad, moving to a new country, or just plain curious we can get you started or keep you going on your journey to fluency. Our classes are all one-on-one and accessible wherever there's a computer and the Internet! Material is available in unlimited quantity online; anyone can access these materials. What language students need above all is a competent guide; a guide to ensure they are using appropriate material, to point out areas of weakness offering individually specific practice tools, to praise successes and improvements, to motivate and engage the student in the study and use of a language.
